Treehouse Bolt Drill Bits - Kit Purchase

The drill bits found in this kit are intended to be used with our Treehouse Attachment Bolts (TAB) and treehouse lag bolts. TABs will require both a 3" Speedbor and one of the three auger bits, while the lag bolts will just require one of the auger bits. For our Heavy-Duty TABs, we offer a specialized drill bit and Speedbor rental kit. During installation, the inside cutting plane shaves the hole radius to achieve clean smooth holes without pressure. A hex shank provides a secure gripping surface for the drill chuck. The cutting edges on these bits can be resharpened. A heavy-duty corded drill is recommend when installing treehouse bolts. If two or more bolts will be installed, a water level is the the easiest and cheapest method for matching the same horizontal plane on the single or multiple trees. Be sure to compensate the height difference if different brackets will be used on the same platform. Our TAB installation process consists of two stages: Drilling into the tree with the 3" Speedbor Self-feeding bit. This is to fit the collar portion of the TAB into the tree. Drilling into the same hole with a ⅞", 1" or 1⅛" auger bit. This is to fit the stem portion of the TAB into the tree. Our Treehouse Lag Bolt installation process consists of just one stage: Drilling into the tree with a ⅞", 1" or 1⅛" auger bit. Note: We use several different manufacturers for the supply of our 3" Timberfeed bits. The bit you receive may not be the same as the bit in the images.
